Dear seqinR,
seqinr 2.0-6 is on its way to CRAN. This is a minor release, no
hurry to update, except if you are interested in abif-related stuff.
The only major end-user change is that the "File" argument for the
read.fasta() function is no more valid.
Best,
Z.
Release Notes for version 2.0-6
-------------------------------
o The old argument File in function read.fasta()
that was deprecated since release 1.1-3 is no more valid.
Just use file instead.
o New function stutterabif() to estimate stutter ratio.
o Function plotabif() has a new default value for its
ylim argument: c(min(y), max(y)) now instead
of c(0, max(y)) previously to help ploting data with
a highly negative baseline.
o Function peakabif() now returns in addition an estimate
of the baseline value.
o New utility baselineabif() to estimate the baseline value.
o There was time shift of one datapoint unit for the peak locations
returned by the peakabif() function, this is now fixed
and the documentation is more explicit for the units used.
o New utility function fastacc() to compute the number
of alleles in common between a genetic profile and a database of
genetic profiles.
