Dear Miguel,
I do not know what the problem is, but I would suggest trying to run
RSiena without any other packages and in a clean workspace i.e. start R
in a directory with no stored .RData, load only RSiena and run the
script example.
If the problem only happens with sub processes, is it possible that the
subprocesses are using a different version of R or RSiena? Or getting a
different workspace initially? Will all these packages be loaded in each
sub process?
There has been a major change in the parallel processing in RSiena in R
2.14.0, although the code is designed to still run under R-2.13.n. The
new version should be more efficient on Linux than the old one. Thus it
might be a good idea to upgrade the R if you can.
Regards,
Ruth
