[Picante-devel] evolve.trait() hidden?

Hey all,

I haven't been keeping up with the blow by blow of picante, so
apologizes if this has already been discussed.   I was planning on
adding some code David wrote to the evolve.trait() function.  I notice
that it is currently a hidden function, what is the plan for the
function?  Does it need some work before we want to expose it more?
Slated for removal?  Other?
