[GenABEL-dev] Setting up a GenABEL-announce mailing list?

Dear all,
I think it is a good idea to set up a GenABEL-announce mailing list.
This would be a low-traffic list on which the various package
maintainers can announce new releases of their package (so no posts
allowed from others). This way, people who want to get notified when a
new version comes out can simply subscribe to that list and don't need
to check the website, forums, or devel list.
Of course it would be possible to set up a separate list for each
package, but in my opinion that's overkill.
What do you think?
Best,
Lennart.
