[GenABEL-dev] Fwd: Package GenABEL_1.7-0.tar.gz has been built for Windows

Dear list,

Some extra info on the problem: Today GenABEL v1.7-0 loads without
problems...
I guess the problem lies somewhere in zzz.R that checks the version
numbers. Maybe one or both servers mentioned in the code had a time-out
or returned garbage.
Obviously we should monitor this kind of behaviour. A failing version
check should not inhibit use of GenABEL.
