[GenABEL-dev] how to get devel-version of GenABEL packages working on Linux or Mac OS, and how to commit changes

Many thanks, William, for your feedback!

Question (for all who feel in position to answer): should we just
modify the text saying that one should modify '.bashrc'? Is it always
there? May that lead to any undesirable consequences?

And we should definitely modify description on where are the possible
locations of R (that it is not always /usr/loca/bin) before turning
that to HOWTO
