[datatable-help] Correcting for transience in mark-recapture data with R

Hi everyone,

Small update: I think the (main) problem is with estimation of M (= total #
of marked individuals). By definition, M in year /t/ should always be equal
or greater than the M in year /t-1/, and for the final year M should be
/total number of rows in the dataset/, right? However, the M in my final
year is *lower* than the M in previous years, most likely because both /z/
and /r/ are 0 for the final year.

Is my reasoning correct and, if so, any suggestions on how I can correct for
this?

Again, many thanks in advance!

~Tim
