[datatable-help] Making merge.data.table more like merge.data.frame, part II

Hi,
I'll defer to Tom on this one. He's usually right about things like
this. It sounds good to me, I think.
Please add as an FR for tracking purposes. When we move NEWS to NEWS.Rd
all the bug and FR numbers will become clickable links. Those numbers
might also link to svn revs, not sure.
