I have not touched r-forge in about a year.  BH lives here:

and the issue tracker there works.  That is the tracker I referred to in the
August 2014 email you are replying to.

And yes, I noticed that 1.55 is current for Debian and Ubuntu and will switch
at some point, time permitting.  It is not a priority yet.

Focussed suggestions for extension are welcome. What is the name of the boost
library that those files are from?  'dpkg -S' seems to suggest
libboost$ver-dev, so part of core?  Should be easy to bcp out.  I think I
usually point at a library name rather than particular .hpp files ...
