[adegenet-forum] SPCA with cost distances as matrix of spatail weights?

Would it be meaningful to run spca with the spatail weights matrix replaced
by a pairwise cost distance matrix, thenn using the output to determine
support for signficant spatail structure based on the "cost distance sapce"
rather than the euclidean distance space?
