Right, latticeExtra is a package (https://CRAN.R-project.org/package=latticeExtra ).

TraMineR does not use this package. However, one of the packages required by TraMineR may itself depend on latticeExtra.
Installing latticeExtra prior to installing TraMineR should solve the issue.
