Hrm, hrm, hrm.
Don't know what to say about that error.
The tarball I submitted to CRAN passess `R CMD check` on my machine which
involves building the vignette.
It also compiles just fine using `R CMD Sweave` followed by either
`pdflatex` or `texi2dvi -p`. I did a quick look over the Git logs and could
not find any changes to tikzDevice.Rnw that jumped out as being possible
causes for the errors in your log.

Could I get a sanity check that the vignette for 0.5.1 builds on your
machine?
