Dear R package author,

You have been selected as a potential participant in a survey about
motivation for developing R packages and participating in the R
community more generally.  The study is being conducted by researchers
from the Institute for Statistics and Mathematics and the Institute for
International Marketing Management of WU (Vienna University of
Economics and Business).  The answers to the questionnaire will aid in
the improvement of R community services such as CRAN and R-Forge in
order to offer contributors to R packages even more efficient
infrastructure.

Filling in the questionnaire is voluntary and will take approximately
15 minutes to complete.

The answers are anonymous and confidential and it will not be possible
to identify individual responses when the data is analyzed and
reported.
