Moikka taas, J & J. Kyselin Nissilän Jussilta jonka tiiän ja joka organisoi
joitain 'meidän' topicstreameja että mikä näitten ehdotusten tilanne on.
Alla vastausta. Voitaisiin käydä lyhyt keskustelu siitä että mitä me nyt
halutaan + pystytään tekemään OKFestillä.
Vaihtoehtoja:
1) koko tiistaille 20 hengen tila meidän hackathonille
2) muutamaksi tunniksi
3) lyöttäydytään yhteen jonkun muun eventin kanssa
Sivusta seuranneena olen ymmärtänyt (tämä pitää tarkistaa), että joku open
science hackathon olis myös tulossa. Yksi hyvä veto voisi olla lyöttäytyä
yhteen sellaisen kanssa ja vetää tiedeorientoinutta hackathonia jollain
Louhosta tukevalla tavalla. Se voisi olla sekä antoisampaa että
vähätöisempää kuin järkätä yksin kokonainen hackathon. Ehdottaisin ehkä
itse tätä.
Toisaalta, jos otetaan koko tila omaan käyttöön niin meillä olisi tosi
vapaat kädet suunnitella ja tehdä asioita jonkun kohderyhmän kanssa. Ei
sekään paha, jos saadaan muodostettua selkeä, hyvä ja innostava visio tilan
käytöstä. Tosin jos tila on koko päivän käytössä niin muu ohjelma menee
sitten siltä päivältä ohi ja sekin on kyseenalaista miten helpolla sinne
saa houkuteltua ihmisiä kilpailevista eventeistä. Ja parissa tunnissa taas
ei kovin paljon ehdi kuitenkaan, eli siinä tapauksessa lyöttäytyminen
yhteen toisen eventin kanssa voi olla toimivampi vaihtoehto.

Koko festivaalitiimin puolesta pahoitteluni, että vastausten saaminen on
venynyt! Tekosyitähän nämä tietysti ovat, mutta osa topic streameistä on
jättänyt vastaamatta heille allokoiduille ehdotuksille ja erityisesti
ehdotukset jotka sopivat useaan kokonaisuuteen ovat helposti tipahtaneet
pois käsittelystä.
Joka tapauksessa, ehdotukset näyttävät hyviltä ja olisi hienoa mikäli
näistä vaikeuksista huolimatta olisit/te vielä innokkaita toteuttamaan
jonkin session.
Tähän hackathoniin ja hackathoneihin liittyen, mikä olisi mielestäsi
optimaalisin ratkaisu? Voin varata sinulle HACK workshop -tilan (eli
workshop/hackathon -tila noin 20 hengelle) tiistaille, jossa voisit vetää
haluamasi tyylisen session - joko lyhyen tai vaikka koko päivän. Koska
ohjelmaa on kuitenkin jo niin paljon, suosittelisin tiimiytymistä jonkun
topic streamin kanssa. Keiden kanssa sinulla on ollut nyt puhetta
yhteistyöstä ja mikä olisi sinun mielestäsi paras ratkaisu? Alkuperäisessä
ehdotuksessa oli keskiössä parliamentary monitoring - ja meille Core
Organising Teamissakin on ollut epäselvää, mikä suhtautuminen tähän
aiheeseen on, sillä osa on ollut sitä mieltä että Pariisissa pidettävän
tapahtuman vuoksi sitä ei ole tarvetta korostaa. Ja koska luonteeltaan se
sopii niin monen topic streamin alle, mielipiteitä on ollut monia.
