Hello everyone,

The OKFestival core planning team had a meeting this week on Tue & Wed,
here is a photo of us at the OKFestival HACK space (Lume Film Studio):
http://www.flickr.com/photos/okfn/6965889082/in/photostream

Below you can find a summary of the main decisions we made during these
two days. The definitions of the themes (point ONE below) might still
need some fine-tuning, feedback is very welcome! (to planning team
address info at okfestival.org or to this list).

Point THREE below is important - we are looking for more Guest Programme
Planners to join the OKFestival programme planning process. The topic
streamsthat need help are:
   - Data Driven Journalism
   - Gender / Diversity in Openness
   - Open urban/municipal data (transport, public works etc)
   - Open national/international government data
   - Open economics
   - Open business & corporate data

We have a week or so time to bring in new people: we have to fix the
topic streams before we send out the second Call for Proposals on
*Monday 7th of May* (with 1st of June as a deadline).

Best regards,

Juha.

Hello,

I updated the programme planning wiki - the information is now arranged
based on the 10 OKFestival guiding themes:
http://okfestival.okfnpad.org/helsinki

Topic Stream teams - please check out the information and update if
necessary! Would be great if there would be a  short (one or two
paragraphs) general description of each Topic Stream on this page.

At the end of the page there are some earlier ideas that still need to
be sorted out (some of them were sent in as submissions, some were not).

Best regards,

Juha.

OKFestival coordinator / Helsinki
