Had some emails with CRAN. The JSS vignette does build on older R versions
(with an older jss.cls) because it has a \DOI{} near the top (which would be
ignored in our 'nojss' mode anyway) that, as Murphy's Law would have it,
upset r-release and older.  Also emailed Achim; best fix is to comment it out.
Which I have done.

We also have a PR with a bug fix in, so I'll roll up 0.4.6 for CRAN.
