[RQt-devel] progress towards multi-platform support

Hi guys,

Just an update on progress towards Windows and Mac builds. It sounds like
Simon has successfully built qtbase on the Mac, so we will be getting a
CRAN binary soon. For Windows, Uwe has agreed to take on the task of
building Qt on the CRAN servers as soon as he gets back from vacation. So
fingers crossed we will soon have qtbase on Windows, as well.
