[NMF-user] [ANN] NMF 0.16.2 released on CRAN

Dear NMF enthusiasts,

the NMF package is finally back on CRAN (version 0.16.2), and should
install on all platform using:

install.packages('NMF')

from you preferred CRAN mirror. Spread the word!

Builds on R-forge are still broken for some packages, including NMF
unfortunately. So until this gets fixed, development versions will be
hosted on myCRAN repository at:

http://web.cbio.uct.ac.za/~renaud/CRAN

An issue with the shared memory feature for parallel computations on Mac
have already been reported. I will need to investigate this further. For
now, try disabling the shared memory feature:

nmf.options(shared.memory=FALSE)

IMPORTANT: please note that R-3.0.0 has just been released and that CRAN
ask users to reinstall all previously installed packages for everything
(not just NMF) to work properly.

I hope this release facilitates your work and research using NMF
methodologies.
As usual, questions/bugs/feature requests are welcome and should be sent to
this list, so that everybody benefit from them.
