[Gradientforest-commits] Unable to install gradientForest packages

Hello,

I am a grate student that would like to you gradient forest for a project I am working on. I attempted to download the conformal, extendedForest, and gradientForest packages on my MacOS operating system. I was able to download conformal through GitHub, but cannot successfully install extendedForest or gradientForest. The R install command: install.packages(“PACKAGE.NAME", repos="http://R-Forge.R-project.org”) for extendedForest returns an error message of…..

I have confirmed that I am running on the most recent version of R. I then downloaded the .tar.gz files from the site https://r-forge.r-project.org/R/?group_id=973 and attempted to build the packages using command below for the .tar.gz files.

$ R CMD INSTALL PATH.TO.FILE/conformal_1.1.tar.gz

This returns error messages as well, where the packages are not “valid”.

I have been able  to unzip the tar files and build individual functions from the packages. However, this is not ideal and I would like to have the full packages and dependencies downloaded. Any help you could provide for me to successfully install these packages would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
