[GenABEL-dev] GenABEL 1.8-0

Good news just before the New Year: GenABEL 1.8-0 and GenABEL.data got
accepted to CRAN! - thanks to a lot of work by Maksim! From previous
experience, we may get some further comments from Win and Mac maintainers
(but may be not; also, we did checks for at least Mac).

Anyways, I hope soon we could announce this much updated version.  Maksim,
would you like to come up with a draft of news/advertisement item for the
genabel.org (in style with what we did before for the new versions)?
