[GenABEL-dev] Questions about using rntransform()

Dear GenABEL developers,

   
     I used the function rntransform() to transform a uniform distribution. I
wonder if that is right. I plot a histogram on the values which are the result
of transforming uniform distribution by rntransform() and found out that is
very normal. I tried ztransform() but it doesn't work as well as rntransform.
May you briefly explain how these 2 functions work and why they are different. 
Can I apply rntransform() to other (not normal) gamma distributions?
