Dear All,

With *ABEL, we are switching to a different user support model. With  
hundreds if not thousands of users around the world who have a lot of  
expertise, the questions about *ABEL can be answered by the *ABEL  
community. As many of you suggested during survey, forum is a great  
community knowledge accumulation tool, and therefore the core *ABEL  
team member, Dr. Lennart Karssen, have arranged a forum

at which users can ask questions and get these answered.

During last month, we tested the forum in action and are now ready for  
a wider exposure! We invite you to ask your questions and provide your  
answers using this public forum, http://forum.genabel.org, from now  
on. By this, you will contribute to *ABEL knowledge accumulation and  
development. Your help will be highly appreciated by the community!

Please keep in mind that this is a public forum, so make sure to that  
you do not send any sensitive information there. If you feel that your  
question is too sensitive for a public post and you would like to seek  
my personal advice, please feel free to send a follow-up e-mail.
