[Genabel-announce] ProbABEL v0.5.0 released

Dear GenABEL users,

Almost one year after the release of v0.4.5, the ProbABEL development
team is happy to announce the release of v0.5.0.
This release contains several important improvements and fixes and all
users are encouraged to upgrade.

This release could not have been done without support from many people,
including long time contributors like Maarten Kooyman and active bug
reporters like Matthias Wuttke. We also thank the group of Prof. Bart
Kiemeney of the Dept. for Health Evidence of the Radboud University
Medical Centre, Nijmegen, NL for sponsoring the work on the --flipmaf
option, and Tessel Galesloot in particular for her extensive beta
testing of this new feature.

The official release announcement can be found on the GenABEL site [1]
and contains more information on the improvements and the bugs that have
been squashed. The source code can be downloaded from the ProbABEL web
page [2]. Updated Debian and Ubuntu packages will be released shortly.
Please report any bugs to the issue tracker on Github [3]. Support
questions are welcome on the forum [4].
