[FLR-list] R course in JRC, Italy

EC JRC will offer a 3 day introductory training course in R/FLR in 
Varese (Italy) 8-10 January, instructors will be Iago Mosqueira, Ernesto 
Jardim, Colin Millar and Chato Osio. Agenda from past courses can be

The course will be free of charge but participants will need to cover 
their own travel and accommodation expenses. Special accommodation costs 
have been negotiated with the Palace Hotel in Varese where the training 
will be held (http://stecf.jrc.ec.europa.eu/web/ftp/ewg1216).

15 additional training slots will also be available with some 
travel/accommodation funding for students coming from EU accessing and 
neighboring countries. To apply for funding an additional application 
needs to be made following the instruction at the link: 
http://ec.europa.eu/dgs/jrc/downloads/enlargement/eia2013/2013-ipsc-a-02.pdf 
and funding will be allocated based on CVs. Irrespective of funding 
application, all candidates need to register on the JRC registration page.
