[Expm-developers] EXPM package for R v2.12.1

I just tried:  Even the most current version of expm is compatible with R 2.12.1.

I was able to install it (using R 2.12.1) 
from the source, i.e., the expm_0.99-1.1.tar.gz file,
and at least  
    example(expm) 
worked fine.

Well, you should be able to have someone do this at your company,
if you want (or your company wants you) to work with such a very
old version of R, you (or some expert at your company) need
install the  'Rtools' (including C compiler etc) on at least one
Windows machine, so you can *build* binary Windows packages from
"source" and produce *zip files that others can use to install.

Otherwise please do reconsider upgrading R ..
