[datatable-help] I have been agnozing over how to do a running cummulative sum over a particular date range

I was about to post my question on Stackoverflow when I came across the
question I wanted to ask but alas it is not answered. I am sure you know
how to do this in data.table. I almost think I know but not quite. Can you
please help
