Manuel, what I believe you want to do is convert ASCII format data to
xyz (columnar) data, no? If this is the case, then I may have a
solution for you as I struggled with this also when I first
encountered it. I have a Python code that will perform the task
quickly. You may email me directly if this is indeed what you're after.
