Dear list,

some of you may have noticed an issue when installing adegenet on windows and R 2.12.0. As a matter of fact, binaries for windows are currently not available. This is due to an example of seqTrack which fails when executed because of a new bug in the ape package. This bug has been corrected by Emmanuel Paradis, but we'll have to wait for a new release of ape on CRAN to get the adegenet binaries back. Alternatively, I will send a patch where the faulty example will be disabled.

In the meantime, you can find the windows binaries on R-Forge:
https://r-forge.r-project.org/R/?group_id=120

Go to the section "R packages", download the .zip archive for windows, and then install the package from the zip.

Please let me know if you encounter any other problem.

Best regards

Thibaut
