[Tikzdevice-bugs] translation of greek letters in expression

Lovely package - I had a quick try with quite a complex graph & it
worked almost flawlessly.
what didn't quite work was the translation of greek characters in
an expression - it came out as roman.
e.g.

title(expression(lambda[1]),line=l3)

became

\node[color=drawColor,anchor=base west,inner sep=0pt, outer sep=0pt, 
scale=  0.79] at ( 61.73,242.89) {l};

\node[color=drawColor,anchor=base west,inner sep=0pt, outer sep=0pt, 
scale=  0.55] at ( 63.93,241.70) {1};

not a big problem - but the example on the texample site seemed to
have no problems plotting greek symbols. anything I've missed or
a bug?
