<p>It looks like the model does include hindcasts. I had a look at the grib and DODS filters and couldn't immediately tell which were hindcasts and which were not, but if they're there, rNOMADS can get them. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.</p>

<div class="" style="margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px">I recently put a new version of rNOMADS on CRAN. The package now scans the NCEP web site for the current real time model list, meaning that the real time models in rNOMADS should always be up to date.
I may do this for the archived list at a later time.</div>
