Funny how we managed to do that "sharing thing" for almost 4000 commits
without using github...

Seriously, this has been on R-Forge for 4 1/2 years, and works well for half
a dozen comitters and dozen-plus people who contributed (see the THANKS file).

If you can only work on things hosted on github, that is your issue :) and
you are free to create a copy there.  The master is and will remain on
R-Forge as that demonstrably works for us.  Patches are welcome.

(List etiquette would be nice too. Consider trimming your replies.)
