The development version of the package includes the latest (0.9.6) 
version of armadillo, and we plan to follow releases.

We are currently waiting for Rcpp 0.8.0 on which RcppArmadillo depends.

Rcpp 0.8.0 is ready for release, so it is a matter of days or less.
