This release provides some new features and some bug fixes.

1. Running 'probe' on a 'pomp' and a list of probes now results in the
computation of the "synthetic likelihood" (Wood 2010) as well as quantile and
p-value calculations as before. This quantity is computed using a robust
estimate of the covariance matrix of the probes on simulated data. The
synthetic likelihood is now the quantity that is maximized in 'probe.match'.
On simple examples, this produces much-improved performance. See the codes
in "tests/ricker.R" for an example.

2. The probes 'probe.acf' and 'probe.ccf' now have exactly comparable
interfaces.

3. The 'seed' slot in 'probed.pomp' and 'spect.pomp' objects has now
disappeared. It's use was causing undesired behaviors in which the random
seed was being fixed at inappropriate times.

4. Two bugs have been fixed.

See the package NEWS file for more details.

Please feel free to send feedback on your experiences with pomp, including
problems you may encounter and features you would like to see.
