[Ipmpack-users] survival and growth objects incorporating a random effect

I am using IPMpack to model a tropical tree species. 

For my data, a linear model (to represent growth) and a logistic model (to represent survival) would both be improved by adding a random effect. The survival and growth models: MakeGrowthObj and MakeSurvObj call lm (linear model) and glm (logistic models) respectively. I am wondering if there are any survival or growth functions already written for IPMpack that call lmer and glmer.
