[inlinedocs] Quick question on LaTeX Markup

Folks:

(Private reply is fine)

The inlinedocs web page says that LaTeX \markup can be included. Does
this mean:

1. True LaTeX \markup.
2. .Rd LaTeX - like \markup
3. Both

?? (... and apologies if I'm being dense here).

( I would assume that:

-- Rd \markup that duplicates inlinedocs functionality -- e.g.\alias
-- would be ignored or disallowed. But what about any that does not
but does not (exactly) follow LaTeX syntax, e.g. \samp ? )
