Apologies if I've missed this anywhere in previous posts or documentation, but I'm wondering if the BaSTA modeling framework would be appropriate for use with telemetry data? I'm working with a dataset where ~half of the individuals tracked do not have a "known

 fate" (i.e., went missing), and thus a traditional known fate survival model does not seem appropriate. Additionally, we have many cases where an animal was tracked to a new location but wasn't physically observed during the tracking event to minimize disturbance

 (but a visual was obtained on a subsequent tracking event), complicating what we typically think of as a detection. Any insights into whether BaSTA can accommodate these types of data would be greatly appreciated. </div>
